Top Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Guatemala, Q1 2025

During the first quarter of 2025, the top Maps and Navigation applications on the Android platform in Guatemala demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active user engagement.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 9.4K in early January and peaking at 21.7K in early February. The app’s weekly active users grew significantly from 201K at the start of the quarter to 233K by the end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads generally ranging from 13K to 16K. Active users started at approximately 1M and saw a peak of 1.27M in mid-March before settling at 1.08M by the end of the quarter.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery experienced a decline in weekly downloads, beginning at 8K and dropping to 3K by the end of March. Despite this, active users initially increased from 88K to over 106K mid-quarter, before decreasing to 70K.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location showed a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 3.6K and reaching 6.6K by late March. Active users also grew steadily, from 14.5K to 18.5K throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride exhibited stable download numbers, hovering around 4.5K to 5.5K each week. The app's active users peaked at 312K in late March, despite a drop to 217K at the end of the month.
